Visual Merchandising Manager - BEBE SPORT (Los Angeles, CA)
Essential Functions:
The Visual Merchandising Manager is responsible for driving the companies merchandising strategy through presentation and managing the company’s brand. Person must understand fashion trends and the relationship to bebe. Must have strong training and communication skills. Should be able to manage special projects to execution and roll out. Must have the ability to work with multiple departments. Must have strong computer skills to communicate visual direction. Must understand various store layouts, various assortments and all operational aspects of execution. Travel is required in this position. May interview and select employees to fill vacant positions; Participates weekly in the company floor set; Ensure Visual Direction can be executed; Supports and drives company fashion direction; Review store layouts and fixture placement and communicate to field; Plans and conducts employee training to meet established goals; May prepare budget for departmental operations; Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals; Travels to train and develop and ensure store consistency;
Additional responsibilities, duties, and projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree; 7-10 years of experience in the field or in related field; Requires sufficient endurance to perform tasks over long periods of time, i.e. regularly working more than 40 hours per week; Ability to communicate store direction clearly and efficiently; Ability to manage multiple computer programs, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Pagemaker, Quark, Adobe PhotoShop; Ability to prioritize and balance multiple tasks simultaneously; Ability to cope with pressure, multiple deadlines, and working under pressure; Ability to work effectively and cooperatively with fellow co-workers.
