Job Description Overview:
Founded in 1994 by Pamela Skaist-Levy and Gela Nash-Taylor, as a premium designer, marketer and wholesaler of sexy, sophisticated basics for women, Juicy Couture is recognized around the world as a leading contemporary brand of casual lifestyle clothing. The flattering, slender fit of the products, the exclusive distribution and the loyal celebrity following have all played an important role in shaping the brand. In 2003 Juicy was acquired by Liz Claiborne Inc., creating a unique and exciting partnership. Later that year Juicy launched men’s and children’s apparel and in 2004 Juicy Couture Accessories and Juicy Beach Swimwear. In 2005 Juicy Footwear, Juicy Eyewear and Juicy Timepieces were added to the assortment along with the exciting launch of Couture Couture, Juicy’s foray into a designer collection for Women. In 2006 the lifestyle brand was grown with the addition of the Juicy Couture Fragrance and Juicy Baby. Currently Juicy operates retail stores domestically, including flagship locations in Beverly Hills, San Francisco and New York, in conjunction with international partners throughout Europe, Asia and the Middle East.
Manage MFO Product Development. Collaborate with Outlet, Design, Production and Sales to execute the strategic flow of excess inventory and special cuts. Produce meaningful selling recaps by week, month, and season with business recommendations based on analysis.
Responsibilities:
• Execute turnover dates and styles to Special Sales and Outlet.
• Work with Special Sales and Outlet to maximize use of excess raw materials for MFO product.
• Develop seasonal product offerings for outlet based on excess raw materials and ideal product mix.
• Develop and Maintain Time and Action Calendar for Special Sales.
• Style entry and maintenance in AIMS and SEWN.
• Coordination of style costing and entry into AIMS and SEWN.
• Manage and coordinate all costing and pricing of special requests and exclusives.
• Partner with Sales Operations on operational and product flow issues.
• Meet margin goals set by Division.
• Work with Divisional merchandisers to identify potential risk or opportunity of liabilities in raw or finished goods and develop strategies.
• Assist in creation, maintenance, and distribute of line sheets of MFO produce.
• Compile and maintain all Raw Material Excess.
• Manage damage inventory levels.
• Manage PR excess levels by quarter.
• Produce Weekly selling recap for all divisions including top ten analyses by week distributed to sales, design, and divisional merchandising teams.
• Lead monthly presentation of selling recaps to internal teams through visual samples, financial data, and risk and opportunity analysis.
• Produce End of Season recap to internal teams with business recommendations based on retail performance.
• Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Ability to act as liaison between many departments: excellent communication and analytical skills.
• Detail oriented and able to handle multiple tasks at once.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, Photoshop and Illustrator helpful.
