Job Description
Sales Executive - New York, NY DailyCandy, the popular style and trends e-mail newsletter, is seeking a Sales Executive for the New York market. This person will be responsible for the sale of DailyCandy's internet advertising products to national accounts based in the New York area within a set of advertising categories. Job Description/Responsibilities: Proactively prospecting and qualifying potential new advertising accounts. Identifying business opportunities and meeting with decision makers to obtain customer commitment and facilitate delivery of product. Become a category specialist bringing a competitive perspective to your client base by fully becoming immersed in category trade news, events, etc. Achieving quarterly revenue targets. Requirements and Qualifications: 3-5 years experience in local and/or national internet advertising sales focusing on the women's lifestyle markets. You must have a clear understanding of the online advertising industry and existing relationships with media planners, buyers and interactive agencies. Proven track record of exceeding sales goals. Strong work ethic and the ability to work independently. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong presentation, time-management and interpersonal skills. Proficient in the use of MS Windows, MS Office, MS Internet Explorer and MS Outlook (SalesForce.com a plus). BA/BS degree or equivalent required. Salary plus commission.
